“Her music is funky and fun”

“On Hot Sauce, Jessy J proves that her hard work as a professional saxophonist has paid off…the listener remains captivated due to the incredible addition of Jessy J’s solo saxophone and the change between solely instrumental tracks and those with vocals.”

“Nothing mild The title track of “Hot Sauce’’ by Jessy J captures what the album is about – contrasts. The jazz elements are cool, but the Latin flavors are hot”

When we went overseas to “lift the morale” of the soldiers by providing fun music, we also had a ton of fun! check out the vid of us dancing Salsa in Kosovo:

At the beginning of 2012 we had the pleasure of hosting a series of jazz shows at Spaghetinni Jazz Club in Seal Beach: below are my personal highlights from each show:

Song For My Father (Horace Silver, arranged by Jessy J)

Rio Grande (Jessy J)

People Get up and Drive Your Funky Soul (James Brown)

After watching Whitney Houston’s funeral on Television, one thing really struck a deep chord within me. Kevin Costner, her Co-Star in “the Bodyguard” said that at times Whitney felt that she wasn’t “good enough” pretty enough, talented enough, accepted enough….all of this made me think. If one of the most beautifully talented singers of our lifetime didn’t feel like she was “Good Enough” what message are we sending out to our young female audiences? I would like to let all the little girls out there know that they ARE GOOD Enough, they are Beautiful, they are special and unique!!!

Whitney we will ALWAYS LOVE YOU!

We just returned from a successful tour playing for the troops in the Balkans. “Its a blessing for us to be able to hopefully lift the morale of the troops overseas. They do so much for us and this is the smallest thing that we can do for them.”
